The importance of keeping your lashes clean
We’re sharing how to keep you lashes clean when wearing lash extensions and/ or everyday care for your lashes. If you are prone to only getting a 1-2 weeks out of your lashes we highly recommend this cleaning method.
By keeping your lashes and extensions clean you keep the hygiene of the eye-line healthy. If you don't keep this regime up there is a chance of blepharitis or eye infections over time.
If you clean regularly with a proper lash cleanser, it removes oils off the eye lid and stops the oil sitting on the lash line and creating a friction at the base of the lash extension and making them pop off, as a result they last longer as the friction isn't happening.
Clients find their eyes are less itchy and irritated if they use a lash cleanser, and i get an extra week out of my lash set before my next infill.
Lash extensions are not a cheap experience nowadays, the technician does their job correctly with their knowledge, as a client you have to do your part in looking after your lash extensions, brush them, wash them, love them.
How do you wash you lashes with a cleanser?
Step 1: Splash your eyes & lashes with lukewarm water and pump BBLash cleanser onto clean fingers.
Step 2: Rub the cleanser along the eyelid, allowing the cleanser to clean the eyelid/ eye line and run through lashes avoiding going into the eye.
Step 3: Rinse with luke warm water, brush and allow to dry or pat dry with a towel.
